Premium lounge access at Changi for Royal Brunei passengers

SINGAPORE - Business class passengers of Royal Brunei Airline soon be able enjoy priority immigration clearance at Changi Airport via the SATS Premium Check-In Lounge (PCIL).

From March 21, the airline will join a club of airlines - such as Asiana Airlines, Etihad Airways and Korean Air - to offer its value customers access to the airport's premium lounge that was revamped in 2010.

Located across Door 3 of Terminal 2, the 97 sq m lounge offers exclusive guests a hassle-free check-in experience, as well as the comforts of other facilities such as spacious seating areas, up-to-date reading materials and cold drinks.

Should passengers require assistance with ticketing or payment for excess baggage, duty officers will also be at their service with payment while they relax at the lounge.

Royal Brunei Airlines had been using the facility on a trial basis in the month of February, but after positive passenger feedback, the airline is going ahead with this partnership with SATS.

The airline said in a statement that it will be in touch directly with its business class customers to advise them on how to access the lounge.

Access to the lounge is also applicable for all Royal Skies Gold and Silver card holders, including their entourages, said Royal Brunei Airlines.

Dermot Mannion, Royal Brunei Airline's Deputy Chairman commented: "This is an important product enhancement for our most valued customers in Singapore.

"ln addition, we look forward to the completion of the airport refurbishment at Brunei International Airport, which will enable Royal Brunei Airlines to provide similar facilities at our home airport"
