Transplant patient is now running for S'pore

The Nanyang Technological University undergraduate will represent Singapore at the 19th World Transplant Games in Durban, South Africa, later this month.

He will compete in badminton and run the 100m and 200m track events.

“I want to give hope to parents and let them know that children with chronic illnesses can grow up and have a good future ahead of them," he said.

Recipients of organ transplants from more than 55 countries will be competing in various sports.
