It is back for the seventh year - and with more to offer.

It is Health & You, the annual health exhibition (above) jointly organised by The Straits Times' weekly health magazine Mind Your Body and Lohas, the health section of Lianhe Zaobao and presented by food manufacturer Nestle Singapore.

This year, the two-day event will feature new and more exhibitors with products and services to help visitors create a healthier environment at home and at work. There will also be traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) booths and events to help parents nurture their children's health.

These new aspects of the exhibition are in line with Mind Your Body's new sections that were introduced recently - Healthy Spaces on making the environment healthier and Herbal Help and Sinseh Says on TCM.

Mind Your Body also contributes monthly reports on tips for parents in bringing up young children in Sunday Lifestyle.

Living in a healthy environment is essential to better health.

Visitors can find out how they can benefit from a cleaner home and a better quality of air and water.

They can also find out how to improve their quality of sleep and their sitting posture.

The exhibition showcases many other offerings to boost quality living, both at home and in the office.

Parents can also find out how to bring up their child more healthily.

Want a brainier child? Check out the brain development offerings - from health supplements to games and courses.

There will also be exhibition booths on exercise equipment from Aibi and healthy drink choices catering to toddlers, students and young adults, such as Nestle Milo and Omega Plus Actico.

Those who are fans of traditional medicine can try the TCM offerings which range from acupuncture consultations to tuina (acupressure) and foot reflexology.

This year, 20 more health talks and workshops will be held on the sidelines.

Like last year, the event will have a shoppers' lucky draw with attractive prizes, exciting stage activities and contests as well as activities for the family.

The event, which has drawn more than 100,000 visitors year after year, provides opportunities for consumers to discover the latest health-related products and services, sample the offerings and interact with the providers.

It also offers businesses in the health and wellness industry a platform to share new products and services.

It will be held at Suntec Singapore Exhibition Halls 402 to 404 on Aug 27 and 28, from 10am to 8pm daily. Admission is free.
