STClassifieds  collaborates with Carousell to strengthen foothold with the Gen Y users

Officially inaugurated on 30 October 2012, Singapore Press Holdings' STClassifieds aims to provide a best-in-class platform for users to buy and sell items that are either brand new or still of use to others.

STClassifieds will be collaborating with Carousell (an NUS Enterprise incubated company) to enhance user mobile experience. This collaboration highlights the growing significance of tech-savvy users particularly the youths who use their smart phones to the best of their convenience. With the evolution of mobile technology, the combined efforts of STClassifieds and Carousell on the mobile front will facilitate and effectively cater to consumer’s current lifestyle habits.

Items listed for sale using the Carousell app will be listed on both the Carousell and STClassifieds marketplace, bringing sellers a larger pool of prospective buyers.

STClassifieds and mobile-savvy users can take advantage of Carousell’s built-in photo filters for sellers to seamlessly beautify the cover photo of their item. The perk of this feature is its string of photo filters to choose from as well as the ability to see how your photos look like before upload. This attractive feature will thus enhance your images to optimally feature your items for sale.
