Popped potato chips for a healthy alternative

In the eternal quest for a healthy potato chip, I have turned to baked and popped ones. Despite a slight gumminess in the popped ones, I find they are a tasty option to bingeing on the real thing.

Their lightness is an asset and when flavoured properly, I forget that they are supposed to have a lot less fat than regular chips.

High pressure is applied to spuds to make them pop and they are a lot more interesting than puffed rice crackers.

These ones from Marks & Spencer have a sharp tang that I like very much. They are ever so light and, while polishing off a whole bag of anything is never a good thing, finishing off this one will cost you only 345 calories.
